It's almost going to be a year since OCV002's release and I believe this is a good opportunity for a revisit.

Actually, this one's turned out to be an even larger project than the previous release, and a very special one at that - being both Shea's and the label's entry into solo artist EP territory. You already know how subpar my description-writing skills are, so bear with me while I fix up a few paragraphs:

I believe Shea's intention behind "Forest Flame" was to create an expanded version of his past works which kept coming back to the themes of nature and habitats. Regarding this particular release, he once said the tracks would be fitting for someone in a windy, blank dustland, walking toward a forest in the distance – giving the impression of a radio station you would listen to while you walk.

The candle has melted but the fighting spirit is still there – standing out in a place it shouldn't.

Can we say similar things about the organic nature of the sounds presented in this release? Maybe, who knows, does it matter? One day you think your release is for a certain audience, another day you watch people dancing to Terra in a Chilean Boiler Room.

Thus, I encourage you to be the judge. It's all subjective.
